Benefits of our contract with UKCPM include:

  • a digital, streamlined service that's more environmentally friendly as there’s less paperwork
  • virtual permits that aren't open to counterfeiting and fraud.

We’ve enhanced our services, making it easier to access permits

  • Sippi is the new parking app designed to make the process of buying a permit easier and quicker for customers, their visitors and carers. The old app will be decommissioned.
  • Access to services: We’re improving our parking service information to ensure it’s clear, accessible, provides guidance on where to get help, and how to apply for additional permits, visitor and carer permits. 
  • Calling the UKCPM team: Hyde customers will be given exclusive priority, when calling the UKCPM number 0345 463 5050. This helpline will offer tailored assistance and non-digital access to services with reduced wait times.
  • Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, supported by existing foot patrols, will be introduced in high-demand areas. This will help ensure residents with valid permits can park and that pavements and fire routes remain clear.

Hyde doesn't receive any income or profit from car parking or its enforcement. UKCPM, like all of our suppliers, is asked to make a nominal annual social value donation as part of the contract. In the case of UKCPM, any donations are gifted to Hyde Charitable Trust, for reinvestment into community projects.
