Nearly £20,000 raised to help celebrate Hyde Charitable Trust’s 40th birthday
Hyde Charitable Trust (HCT) – which supports the work of Hyde Foundation, our social investment team - celebrated its 40th birthday by hosting an evening to remember at The Wellcome Trust, London. And as part of the celebrations, nearly £20,000 was raised for our community partners.
Hyde colleagues presented community partners and their volunteers with awards to recognise the invaluable work they do in our communities. From food pantries to providing money advice, from holiday clubs for children, to social clubs for older people – the evening was a ‘thank you’ and celebration of our community partners for helping us create thriving and inclusive communities.
Thanks to ticket sales, donations, and generous auction prizes donated by our partners, the evening also raised nearly £20,00 in much needed funding for Hyde Charitable Trust.
Katherine Rodgers, Chair of Hyde Charitable Trust, said: “I would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all our partners who have collaborated with us over the past 40 years. This includes our community partners delivering essential services, and supply chain partners providing vital resources and investment. The combination of these partnerships makes a huge difference to our communities.”
A special thank you to our event sponsors including AD Group, Kinovo/Purdy, City Plumbing and Workday.
The evening’s celebrations also included the launch of Hyde Foundation’s Impact Report 2023-24 (PDF, 2MB). The report highlights our commitment to creating inclusive, thriving communities and features some of our partner organisations that were celebrated at the event.
