We want you to know, that we’re here to help. We’re encouraging anybody that is struggling financially to get in touch with us – don’t bury your head in the sand. But not only that, we want to be a source of information for other resources that can help our customers achieve financial stability, amid the cost of living crisis.
Please remember that our Income team is not simply there to collect rent money. They are specialists in arrears, and in the benefits system, and their job is to keep you in your home. They can help to make sure you’re receiving all the money you’re entitled to. They can help apply for Universal Credit, set up affordable repayment plans, refer you to specialist help and much more.
And it doesn’t stop there, we have other resources available to you as well as our Income Team. We have information on energy advice, help with budgeting, our award-winning Universal Credit tool, advice on jobs and training and more, all in the same place on our website. We’ve even listed lots of places, outside of Hyde, where you can go to find further help and advice.
