Curtis Juman has been appointed to the Hyde Group Board. He has assumed the role of Chair Designate of the Group Audit Committee and member of the Group Finance Committee, in addition to his duties as a Board member.
Curtis, the Finance Director at Ofcom until retiring in March 2023, has, throughout his career, had a focus on roles which ensure customers receive high quality services and in ensuring customers in regulated industries are protected. He’s worked closely with social housing providers for more than 20 years, serving as a Non-Executive Director board member with several social landlords.
He is also a Non-Executive Board member for the New Homes Quality Board, focused on improving quality and standards of new build homes, and is a Board member of the Trinity House Greater Lighthouse Authority, a charity focused on maintaining lifesaving assets. Curtis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance and operating in regulated industries.

I know from personal experience the difference a good and stable home can provide people, as it’s the basis needed to create a good life. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience of working in and around the social housing sector over three decades, to benefit Hyde and its customers.”

Curtis’ appointment began on 1 September 2024 and is for an initial three-year term.
