Today marks the start of National Apprenticeship Week with the theme focusing on #SkillsForLife and how apprenticeships can provide young employees with invaluable career skills for their future. National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the achievements of apprentices, their employers and training providers.
At Hyde we have apprentices in several roles such as Customer Service, Tenancy, Business Administration, Trades, Income, IT and Digital Communications where they learn on the job while completing a level 3 apprenticeship in their field.
Kim Glasgow, Apprentice and Early Career Programme Manager, said: “It’s been amazing to experience a wonderful selection of candidates join Hyde. They’ve all learned so much and continue to be driven to achieve their career aspirations. It’s really exhilarating to have them on board! And thank you to the managers who are supporting them through this journey.”
Ella Gardner, Digital Communications Apprentice, said: “I've learnt so many key skills throughout my apprenticeship at Hyde that I know I’ll have throughout my future. I would recommend an apprenticeship to anyone who is thinking about it. I've nearly finished my 3 year apprenticeship and am so pleased that I did it.”
