We’re proud to have been awarded the SHIFT Gold award for the third year in a row
We ranked 9th out of 40 other organisations that were assessed.
Our Director of Asset Management and Sustainability, Luke Driscoll, said: “Achieving the SHIFT Gold Award for the third consecutive year is testament to our long-term commitment, and reflects our dedication to building sustainable homes and neighbourhoods.”
SHIFT is an independent body that helps housing providers be more sustainable. It recognises our performance in meeting and exceeding environmental targets across all our operations.
Our performance was assessed on the following elements:
- How sustainable our existing homes and neighbourhoods are
- How sustainable our new build developments are
- How we engage with our customers
- Our offices and operations’ overall environmental performance.
The report also looks at our sustainability strategy, repairs and maintenance, energy efficient travel and transport and how we source contractors and supplies.
We’ll use the findings from the assessment to monitor our environmental performance progress and help us identify areas for improvement.
Luke added: “We’re committed to making our homes, offices and supply chains more sustainable and this award reinforces our dedication to achieving our carbon net zero goals.”
Our ongoing commitment to sustainability means we’ll continue to invest in technology, infrastructure and community engagement initiatives that benefit both our residents and the environment.
