Our Property Maintenance team is growing, as we bring more repair services in-house
From October 2023 we’re bringing our repairs and electrical maintenance services, that cover parts of London and Kent, in-house. These services were previously provided by Equans.
If you live in one of these areas, you'll see more Hyde vans and uniforms, but you may see the same faces, as some Equans staff are joining the Hyde team.
Mark Batchelor, our Director of Property Services, said: “We’re always looking at ways to improve services. Bringing our repairs in-house enables us to better manage our homes and ensure a more consistent level of service.
“Customers across London are already seeing the benefits of this approach, after we brought repairs and maintenance services originally provided by Mears, in-house last year. Last year, we carried out more than 68,000 repairs to the homes we provide.”
Mark added, “We’re also working with our Repairs working group, made up of Hyde customers, who are helping us shape and improve our services.”

From October, customers in these areas will be able to book repairs and manage their account details via our online portal MyAccount.
