Latest update - 12 April 2024

Balcony access

Amber Construction needs access to specific flats to complete spandrel panel replacement work to certain balconies.

Letters have been sent to affected residents to schedule appointments and arrange access.

It’s crucial that these appointments are booked on time. Please note that if Amber Construction is unable to gain access to your flat – this may result in delays to the completion of the project and obtaining the EWS1 form for the building.

Building Safety Fund

Our applications (for blocks A and B, see below) have gone through the technical eligibility criteria for the replacement of the spandrel panels, and it has been confirmed that they meet the legal criteria for funding. The applications will now move to the next stage of the process, which is cost review. Once we agreed the cost with our contractor, we’ll provide them to fund processors. The application status is currently “Eligibility Confirmed”.  As soon as we hear from DLUHC on the next step, we’ll update you.

Block A is the Marine Street postal address, flats 1-52, and Block B the Sun Passage address, flats 53-114.

The Government is publishing updates on how Building Safety Fund applications are progressing in the third week of each month on the Building Safety Fund Leaseholder and Resident Service website pages.

Customers must use a code unique to their building to access the service. We’ve shared this code with customers, which and can be shared again via email [email protected].
