About the Hyde Group
We’re a leading provider of affordable housing in London, the south east of England and neighbouring areas. We’re primarily a group of ‘not-for-profit’ organisations, headed by Hyde Housing Association,
which was established in 1967. We provide about 44,000 homes for people who might not otherwise be able to afford one, as well as delivering easy-to-use landlord services.
We’re committed to our social purpose, to becoming a truly customer-driven organisation, providing great services and ensuring our homes are safe, decent and energy-efficient. And, with housing – or the lack of it – now taking its rightful place at the top of the political agenda, we’re also committed to building as many homes as we possibly can, to help solve the country’s housing crisis.
To help us achieve this, as well as government funding, we raise long-term finance from banks and institutional investors, and are committed to ensuring we remain financially robust at all times.
