Hyde's HR team has won the Best Implementation Project Award at this year’s 2017 MHR Impact Awards for upgrading iTrent, the managers’ self-service portal that enables line managers to better manage their teams.
Hosted by stand-up comedian and 2016 finalist of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, Joel Dommett, the 2017 MHR awards attracted more than 300 people from across the UK.
“Managers had told us they found the old portal clunky, so we set out an action plan to make it better" said Nicola Frith, HR Transactional Manager. “We’ve been overwhelmed with the positive feedback we've had from managers regarding the new design and this award is the cherry on the cake.”
The Hyde Group has scooped one of most prestigious awards in the property industry at the UK Property Awards 2016-2017 held at the Marriott Hotel, London on 28 October 2016.
Hyde competed with the best property professionals across the UK to achieve the acclaimed Five Star Award in the category ’Best Development Marketing London’ for Spring at New Stonebridge Park, the £47.1 million mixed tenure development in North West London, which delivers high quality housing and a range of outstanding community facilities.
“We’re delighted to have received this award, especially considering it is on a global scale. It really is the cherry on the cake to receive this second award in as many months for Spring at New Stonebridge Park.
“We’re proud to be providing much needed housing in a London Zone 3 area, and it is a fantastic reward for the team to be recognised for the creativity they have shown in marketing the development,” said Debbie Small, Hyde’s Sales and Marketing Director.
The success of the marketing campaign for Spring at New Stonebridge Park was due largely to a carefully researched and targeted branding concept and supporting marketing plan, as well as brand presence both in the UK and the Far East.
Spring at New Stonebridge Park consists of 164 blind tenure homes, including 39 shared ownership apartments, 55 outright sale homes and 70 affordable rent apartments (a combination which addresses housing needs in the area) as well as community facilities. It forms part of a wider £225 million regeneration scheme, which has transformed a notorious, run-down London housing estate into a vibrant, sustainable area.
Hyde New Homes has successfully won the 'Best Large Development' award for Spring at New Stonebridge Park at the 2016 National Housing Awards, held at the Lancaster Hotel. Hosted by comedian and quiz show host, Alexander Armstrong, the awards are regarded as the housing industries most prestigious and significant accolades of the sector.
Spring at New Stonebridge Park forms part of an ongoing regeneration programme that will see over £225 million invested in the area of Wembley and Stonebridge, creating new homes and facilities for local residents and potential new home buyers in North West London.
On collecting the award, Minnie Dando, Head of Marketing at Hyde New Homes commented 'We are delighted to receive the award for Best Large Development' with our Spring at New Stonebridge Park development and also to be highly commended for the Best Regeneration category at the prestigious National Housing Federation awards yesterday.
The judges praised the scheme, highlighting the high quality design, as well as how we successfully involved the community.
Spring is part of a £225 million regeneration led by The Hyde Group, on the former Stonebridge estate in Harlesden, providing much needed housing in a London zone 3 area.
The scheme was also recognised in the 'Best Large Regeneration Project' winning highly commended.
On 9 October 2015 The Hyde Group took away the top prize, in the Residential Development Category of the UK Property Awards, winning the 5 star award for the Best Residential Development in East Sussex, with its One Hove Park development.
One Hove Park makes good use of high quality materials, with a building design that was heavily influenced by local architecture, providing a contemporary and modern landmark building that is truly one of a kind. Inside, the building maximises the availability of daylight, creating a sense of space that complements the external architecture.
In building the development, Hyde relied heavily on local skills and talent. Bricks from Horsham were used to build it, while Hyde’s construction skills centre helped to get local people back into work. Careful consideration was given to the natural environment; award-winning landscape designer, Nicholas Dexter, helped Hyde to create a wildlife corridor between the two local parks, as well as an attractive communal garden for residents.
The Hyde Group won the Public Sector Award at this year’s Procurement Leaders Awards 2015, beating off competition from the NHS, Transport for London and City of Cardiff Council, among others.
In what was a very successful night, Hyde was also shortlisted in the Transformation category, up against household names including Clarks, ITV and Nike.
Hyde’s Transformation and Procurement Director, Einav Ben-Yehuda, said: “Winning this award, plus being shortlisted in the Transformation category, is a fantastic result. “Since we launched our new procurement strategy in 2013, we have helped Hyde save more than £7 million and have delivered many service improvements for staff and residents. This has been achieved by building a highly skilled commercial team; applying procurement best practice to everything we do and reducing the number of suppliers we use.”
Hyde New Homes scooped up an award for Best Marketing Campaign at the prestigious National Housing Awards 2015.
Hyde New Homes received the award, which recognises excellence in marketing affordable housing products. The accolade singled out Hyde’s campaign for marketing Spark, a contemporary collection of one, two and three bedroom shared ownership apartments situated in New Cross. Spark sits at the heart of the Kender Triangle regeneration area, the focus of a decade long investment programme led by Hyde. Part of this development also included Hyde’s first venture into PRS with 54 apartments for private rental which were successfully launched earlier this year and leased out within two months.
The judges praised the marketing drive “This well delivered campaign was exceptionally good. They dealt with a difficult product, and through their campaign they changed the perception and did it well. The retro vibe was something a bit different and appealed to young people. The judges commented that it was some of the best marketing they had seen.”
On receiving the award Debbie Small, Hyde’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: “We are absolutely thrilled with this award. A lot of thought went into the planning of this marketing campaign, to ensure that we could communicate with our target audience in an effective way. We exceeded our targets by selling and completing on all 43 apartments within 4 weeks of handover, providing much needed housing in London, for young people who cannot afford to buy their homes outright.”
