What is STAIRs?
The government has introduced a new requirement called the Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs).
STAIRs makes it easier for you to access important information about the management of your home, and other services we provide as a landlord.
The government requires all social housing providers to introduce a STAIRs publication scheme by October 2026.
This is the publication scheme for Lanecroft homeowners which we'll review regularly to ensure it remains accurate and up to date. We’ll add new information to this scheme when we’re required to, and whenever we think it will be useful and relevant to you.
Services for Lanecroft homeowners are provided by Hyde and our partners, and the most appropriate information is provided below.
Hyde and Halesworth have their own publication schemes but information specific to Lanecroft homeowners is included below.
Information requests
From April 2027, you'll be able to request information about how we manage your home and the services we provide. We'll provide information on how to make a request nearer the time.
Do you think we should be publishing something that we're not?
If you think we hold information that falls within the categories above but we haven't published it, you have the right to ask us to review this. Contact us at [email protected] and we’ll complete a formal review and let you know the outcome.
If you're dissatisfied with the outcome of our review, you have the right to escalate your concern directly to the Housing Ombudsman Service. You can find more information on how to raise a concern with them on their website www.housing-ombudsman.org.uk.
