School uniform vouchers are back for 2026

With school uniform costs continuing to put real pressure on family budgets, we’re running our school uniform voucher programme again in 2026.

The offer is expanding to primary and secondary school aged children, supporting more families than ever.

This year, children in reception to year 11, for the school year starting in September 2026, will receive a voucher worth £50 per child to spend with Trutex.

In June 2025, a Children’s Society survey found 42% of parents said uniform was less affordable than the year before. Last year, we found this out first hand. Customers told us about the difference the vouchers made to their families.

Rosie Curran, a Hyde customer and mum of two who received vouchers last year, said:

“Peace of mind for families knowing that good quality uniform is covered is really important. It reduces stress, guilt and financial burdens.”

“Having the right uniform helps children feel included at school. Uniform can level the playing field when it comes to appearance.”

The vouchers are funded by Hyde Charitable Trust and social value contributions from our partners, including Trutex.

If you’re a customer

We use household member details to work out which customers should receive a voucher.

If your household details are up to date, you don’t need to do anything and the vouchers will be sent to you automatically.

If you haven’t updated your details to show you have primary and/or secondary school aged children, update them using this form by Wednesday 20 May.

How the vouchers will work

Voucher codes will be sent in June by email (or by text/post if we don't have an email address). If you’re a customer, make sure your contact details are up to date.

The vouchers can be used online with Trutex and are valid until 31 October 2026. For more information on how to use the voucher, visit our FAQs page.
