Kent Downs team raises over £8,000
Money will help fund school uniform vouchers for families in our homes

More than 30 colleagues from Hyde, Pinnacle and Newbridge Advisors took on the Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge on Saturday 10 October, raising over £8,000 so far.
Starting and finishing at Kent Showground near Maidstone, the challenge took walkers, joggers and runners on routes of 10km, 25km and 50km. Everyone could take on a distance that suited them, at their own pace by walking, running or jogging.
The team’s efforts went beyond the miles covered on the day – they raised a brilliant £8,000 through sponsorship from family, friends and colleagues.
What the money raised will support
The money raised will support our school uniform voucher programme. Now in its second year, it offers all customers living in our homes a £50 voucher for each child from reception to Year 11, to spend on uniform with Trutex.
Across the two years, families in our homes have saved over £300,000 by using our vouchers. The team’s fundraising adds to that support: £8,000 is enough to send vouchers to 160 families, giving them a little less to worry about when it comes to money for food, bills and other essentials.
