Property Maintenance London (PML) has taken over responsibility for repairs and maintenance in London as of October 2022.
“We’re committed to improving our services and being a customer-driven organisation. That’s why we made the decision to bring repairs and maintenance services in-house. Delivering these services through our own teams will help to make sure we put customers at the heart of what we do,” Steve Austin, our Head of Maintenance said.
The service was previously provided by contractor Mears and covers 11,000 homes in the London boroughs of Greenwich, Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Camden, Islington, Harrow and Brent.
PML is our new in-house team, though customers will see some of the same faces as some of Mears’ staff have become Hyde employees. They’ll now have Hyde ID badges, uniforms and vans.
Mears will continue to deliver repairs and maintenance services to our homes in Peterborough.
