We’ll deliver our building safety projects through the framework and make it available to other public sector organisations.
“Our customers’ safety is, and has always been, our top priority,” explained Liz Oliver, our Safer Homes and Neighbourhoods Director.
“We’re investing significantly in building and fire safety and set up this four-year framework to deliver that work. The framework will make sure we manage and address fire safety issues in our homes and buildings, and get the best value for money for our customers.”
Liz added: “We’re committed to not only solving our own problems, but also supporting the sector by providing them with the means to solve theirs. That’s why we’re giving other public sector organisations – such as housing associations and local authorities – access to the framework.
“All the companies on the framework went through a rigorous assessment process, to prove their accreditations and competence. This means any organisation using the framework can be sure they’ll be working with suppliers that meet the latest legislation and that will deliver quality services, saving time and money when procuring contracts.”
The framework covers a range of fire safety services, from fire doors, to fireproofing and stopping, external wall inspections and works, and major fire safety projects. It was designed and procured with Echelon Consultancy and will be managed by Pretium Frameworks.
