Huge congratulations to our colleague, Linda Hill, who's celebrating 35 years as a cleaner at Gosport Towers. Linda is described as a model employee, who has consistently worked to an extremely high standard. She also trains and mentors other colleagues around her.
To mark the achievement, friends and colleagues recently surprised Linda during a staged inspection. She was delighted to receive flowers and presents.
Linda said: “Today has been wonderful, especially being able to celebrate with my team. I enjoy my job and working in Gosport’s Towers. Hyde is a good employer and look after us very well.”
Working so consistently and through many changes is such a wonderful achievement. We asked Linda what’s the best piece of advice she's been given. She said:
“Always be loyal and treat everyone else like you'd want to be treated yourself. Always be honest and reliable.”
David Hunter, Hyde’s Director of Resident Services, said: “We can all learn from Linda’s attitude and approach to her work. She's extremely knowledgeable about the Towers, which makes her a great asset to the company and to her team. Thank you for your hard work and commitment - 35 years is a brilliant achievement.
