Applications for the Social Housing Scholarships programme close soon
Apply by 5 July for university funding and support
If you’re a social housing resident going to university this year, apply for the Social Housing Scholarships Programme by Sunday 5 July 2026.
The programme offers funding and practical support to people living in social housing wanting to go to university and build their future.
Applications close on Sunday 5 July, so please apply as soon as you can if you’re interested. There’s information online on how to apply and build a strong application.
Going to university is a big step. We know money and confidence can sometimes make it feel out of reach. That’s why we’re working with housing partners across the country to offer this programme.
Run by Clarion Futures and facilitated by Blackbullion, it doesn’t just offer funding. It also gives you practical support, real experience and the chance to build your confidence along the way.
If you’re successful, you could receive:
- £6,000 a year to help with living and study costs
- Paid internships to build real work experience
- One-to-one mentoring and career support
- Workshops and networking opportunities to help you grow.
Who is the programme for?
The programme is open to people living in social housing who are starting university in September 2026.
It’s especially for people who feel they might need extra support, particularly with the cost of going to university. The programme is also looking for social housing residents that are the first in their family to go.
