One of our key priorities is keeping our customers and buildings safe. Another is ensuring we provide the best value for money in our services for our customers. Our lift contract is provided by Jacksons Lift Group – who provide a comprehensive service for all our 500 lifts, ensuring they meet all building safety regulations.
As part of the contract, Jacksons attend any lift call out within four hours* and never leave an unsafe lift. As part of the contract, we also have a daily call with Jacksons to discuss progress on any lift repairs.
*Please note that this does not guarantee that the lift will be back in service, as parts may need to be ordered.
Keep on moving
We know how important it is having a reliable lift, particularly in our high rise buildings. This is why we want to keep our lift service running as efficiently as possible.
If your lift is currently out of service, and you are struggling to leave your home – for example, for a medical appointment then let us know. Please call our Customer Services team on 0800 3 282 282.
Also let us know if your personal circumstances change (for example, if you have mobility issues or children) – and we can then help if your lift is out of service.
To ensure that our lifts are running safely, we’ve partnered with Safeline – who provide real-time visibility over our lifts. We're rolling out Safeline across all our lifts, meaning we can check around the clock if any of our lifts aren’t working, and detect any issues before disruptions.
You can also help us ensure that our lifts keep running safety:
- Please don’t force doors open or try to stop them with your hands or objects
- Don’t overload the lift – keep to the maximum weight
- Keep children and pets close
- Stand away from the doors.

Remember that communal repairs can be raised and tracked on MyAccount. You can check to see if an issue relating to your lift has already been raised.

Why is my lift taking so long to fix?
Unfortunately, lifts can often take a long time to fix due to the technical nature of the parts and a complicated supply chain – for example, parts are often manufactured abroad. However, we’ll do everything we can to ensure your lift is back in service as quickly as possible.
