What are the types of cleaning costs?
This includes ‘Contracted Cleaning Services’, ‘Responsive Cleaning’ and ‘Window Cleaning’. We hire contractors to do the day to day cleaning of your building. This might be hallways, stairwells, or entrance lobbies. It also includes any regular window cleaning of communal glass doors/windows, which will often be a specialist window cleaning service provider. ‘Responsive Cleaning’ is when additional specialist cleaning is needed outside of the regular services, like cleaning up graffiti, syringes, blood or faeces.
Why am I being charged for cleaning?
Where we are the landlord, it’s our responsibility to clean and maintain the communal areas around our customers’ homes. We provide the contracted services, which is paid for by the customer.
