Improving customer outcomes, forming new partnerships, delivering more homes
We continued to improve customer outcomes this year, to form new partnerships to deliver more new homes, and grew the organisation – all supported by our strong financial position.
Like the rest of the sector, we continue to face challenges from the growing cost of maintaining homes and making them more energy-efficient, as well as remediating building safety issues. Fortunately, we’re well-placed to manage this, through our strong financial position.
Our increased investment in our homes, plus our strategy of attracting institutional investors to the sector, is making us more sustainable in the long term. This means we can continue to build the affordable homes the country desperately needs, and deliver better outcomes for customers.
We’re an increasingly diverse organisation, serving a broad range of needs. The addition of Pinnacle and Tower Hamlets Community Housing (THCH) means we now own and/or manage 130,000 homes and provide neighbourhood services to about 350,000 people, in more than 300 local authorities, across the UK. We operate nationally and serve locally, with consistent high-quality services.
THCH joined Hyde on 1 April 2025 and integration was largely complete by September 2025. THCH customers are enjoying faster, more reliable and better value customer services. We’ll be investing more than £60m over the next few years to improve their homes and communities.
And, in March 2026, we confirmed Arhag Housing Association would be joining the group. Arhag provided around 1,000 homes across London. Arhag formally transferred its homes and services to Hyde by Transfer of Engagement on 7 July 2026.
There’s still much we want to achieve. There are exciting opportunities within our communities, and the breadth of our offer gives us confidence for the next phase of our plans. We’re far from complacent, and we’ll continue to strive to deliver better outcomes for our customers, communities and clients.
