Barry spent his whole career in the construction and waste management industry and carried out various roles during that time. He started off his management career as a location manager in the “energy from waste” sector but his qualities and enthusiasm quickly demonstrated his potential.
Barry worked within a logistics and waste management company where he worked alongside the leadership team within the client base and was part of the huge contribution to the sustainability agenda within the waste management and construction industry. He advocates the partnership approach to project management and has always been heavily involved in environmental management, social value and sustainable resource management from the construction process from pre-construction to post construction.
Barry supports multiple charity events and has a passion for social value contribution, youth support and equal opportunities to encourage people to progress and have insight into the wider sustainability issues within the construction industry.
Barry went on to establish KM ECO Ltd, an Environmental consultancy and waste management business from 2017 to present. The business module being focused on environmental best practice including innovation, social value and environmental management, navigating environmental regulations and law with robust auditing and monitoring processes in place.
