Struggling with life’s challenges? Our free support tool will help you find help fast
We’re working in partnership with the National Support Network
Are you struggling with any of life’s challenges? You may need help around anything from loneliness to debt advice or from problems at work to help with anxiety. We’ve partnered with the National Support Network and their ‘one stop shop’ support hub that makes it easy to find help fast for any of life’s problems.
The support hub is an online directory containing information on thousands of national services including helplines, self-help resources and support groups for any personal challenge or life event.
Using it is easy. It’s free to access and you don’t need to register or provide any personal information, simply search for the information you want. Once you complete a search – whether it’s on paying your gas bill or the fact you can’t sleep – you’ll be able to see available support in one place. There’s even information about owning pets
Felicity Hunt, Hyde’s Communities and Social Impact Director, said:
“Our partnership with the National Support Network will help customers and their friends and families find tailored, trusted support.
“By collaborating with specialists and charities, like the National Support Network, we’re hoping to help our customers regain financial stability and improve their overall wellbeing. We’ve also been adding the support our community partners provide to the directory. For example, a search for ‘help with food costs’ will produce results that include our partners who provide support to access free or low-cost food and our resources available to help with the cost of living.”
The National Support Network directory is just the start of what’s to come under our new Hyde Foundation strategy, which focuses on people, partnerships and place.
Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out more opportunities to support our customers and communities, so keep an eye on our website and social channels for the latest updates. These will include:
- Career coaching with Stay Nimble – tailored support to help you find work, build new skills or take the next step in your career.
- Housing Perks - the UK’s only ‘pay rent arrears as you shop’ app, designed to make your money go further.
And don’t forget our Helping Hand website pages - dedicated pages offering financial help and support. There’s advice on everything from paying bills, to debt advice and from employment and training support to applying for Universal Credit.
