We need to confirm that the information we hold for customers is up to date

Customer Details Dec 25 2 SEO

As part of our commitment to making sure we continue to improve your services, we need to confirm that the information we hold for customers is up to date.

Starting from 15 December, Hyde customers will receive an email or text message from us asking you to check your information and then confirm or update it.

Everyone has a secure and individual link which goes to a page where you can check the data we hold.

The webpage looks like this:

If we don’t have an email address or mobile telephone number for you, we’ll be writing to ask you to provide this information and to check your details.

Why we’re asking

Having your correct details helps us to deliver the best services to you, using the right contact information.

This is a routine review we carry out for all customers.

Vulnerability information

It’s important that we have information about any vulnerabilities you may have. This is so we can make reasonable adjustments where needed in how we’re delivering services for you.

It’s information the Regulator of Social Housing also expects social housing providers, like Hyde, to ask its customers to provide, so we can demonstrate how we’re delivering services to reflect this.

We’ve defined a vulnerability as:

“Vulnerability is the potential for a customer or a member of their household to have a temporary or permanent reduction in capacity or resilience due to physical health, mental health or a situation that could increase adverse risk to the person’s wellbeing.”

Find out more about Hyde's vulnerability policy statement here.

For those customers who have already told us about a vulnerability you have, we’ll be contacting you separately to ask if anything has changed in the last 12 months.

How to check and confirm your information

Please click the secure link that will be sent to you by email or text message.

We take keeping your personal data secure very seriously. To avoid any confusion or concerns, we’re not asking you to share any personal details by email or text message.

Thank you for helping us keep your information accurate and secure.
