Last year we supported thousands of families with primary school age children by sending them vouchers to buy school uniform.

More than 7,600 uniform items were purchased and many customers told us how the support helped make the start of term a little easier, giving children the clothing they needed to feel confident and ready for the new school year. This year we’ll be expanding our offer to support even more customers.

The campaign has now won ‘Project of the Year’ at the WISH ‘Women Who Inspire’ Awards. WISH is a national network that champions, supports and connects women working across the housing sector, recognising the projects making a real difference in communities.

Group Chief Executive of the Hyde Group, Andy Hulme, said: “We want to do more than just provide homes for our customers. We want to support the people who live in them with the things that genuinely help day to day.

"This campaign is a great example of that. We’re proud to see it recognised with this award, but even more proud of the difference it’s made to families. Practical support like this can have a real impact and we’re looking forward to helping even more children this year.”

Remember, if you still have a voucher from last year’s campaign, it will expire on 31 July 2026. We’ll be sharing the full details of this year’s campaign soon, so keep an eye out.
