Dressed for success – more children set for school thanks to our uniform campaign
Thousands of families have been supported with uniform costs in time for new school year
Over the summer we emailed or texted thousands of vouchers to every Hyde customer with primary school age children. Each voucher is worth £50 per child, to be redeemed online with our partner, Trutex.
Over 5,600 uniform items were sold throughout August – meaning children are heading back into the classroom feeling confident and ready to learn.
We’re delighted to see such positive feedback from customers, which has included:
“I'm a single mother and financially things are not easy. With cost of everything, I am very grateful.
“We purchased two boys’ black trousers with belts, two girls’ adjustable black pleated skirts, two boys’ long sleeve shirts, two girls’ long sleeve shirts, two boys’ short sleeve shirts and two girls’ short sleeve shirts.
The total cost was £114, so with the £100 voucher I had to pay £14 which was great.”
And we were thrilled to even receive some ‘first day back at school’ photos, with children proudly wearing their new uniform.
We’ve emailed or texted voucher codes to all households where a primary school aged child is included as a household member. If you have a child living in a Hyde home who is not listed as a household member, please update your family’s details via the link below by Tuesday 30 September to make sure you receive the correct voucher amount.
If you think you should have received a voucher but haven’t seen an email, please check your junk mail or spam folder and look out for an email form Hyde. Most vouchers were sent out between 24 and 25 July, with more sent out in August after household details were updated. Vouchers are valid until 31 July 2026.
