Increasing our impact to deliver better outcomes for customers
We’ve published our latest Environmental and Social Impact Report
Our Environmental and Social Impact Report 2024/25 shows how we’re helping tackle some of the major challenges we face as an organisation, sector and society, and how we’re delivering better outcomes for our customers.
2024/25 highlights
- 81.4% of customers were satisfied after receiving a service from us
- 80% of our homes were at least EPC band C (SAP69); 356 were given energy-efficiency measures.
- We invested £8.2m in our communities; £27.5m was indirectly invested through our supply chain
- Our social homes were worth £753m, in terms of economic growth and public service savings
- 1,513 customers were involved in shaping our services.
“Over the past couple of years, we’ve transformed our organisation to better meet customers’ needs and priorities, in response to their insight and feedback. We’re now more joined-up, more customer focused and more visible in our neighbourhoods,” said Andy Hulme, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Hyde Group.
As well as updating our Sustainability Strategy, launching our Biodiversity Action Plan and publishing our Community and Place Standard, we developed a new approach to measuring our carbon footprint and started work to better-understand and manage the climate risks impacting our customers and our business. This will help us become a more climate-resilient organisation.
“We’ve been reporting on our environmental and social impact for the past five years and we’re immensely proud of what we’ve achieved so far,” Andy said.
“As a group, we now own or manage 125,000 homes across the UK and provide neighbourhood services to 350,000 homes. This means we can have even greater positive impact on more people living in the homes we manage, as well as their communities.”
