New homes for St Leonards-on-Sea
Ashdown House includes 59 homes for affordable rent
The last of 151 new homes at Ashdown House, St Leonards-on-Sea were handed over in March 2026.
We worked with Chartway Partnerships Group to regenerate the former site of a Department for Work and Pensions office.
The development includes 59 homes for affordable rent (42 of which were funded by Homes England grant) and 92 for private rent, alongside green space and a new Aldi supermarket, as part of the wider regeneration of the area. The one to four-bedroom homes were designed to respond to local need.
Jaime Buckley, our Group Development Director, said: “We’re delighted to provide 59 high quality, energy-efficient affordable homes at Ashdown House. Delivering vital homes and amenities for local people who need them is a fundamental part of our social purpose.”
