New affordable homes for Lakenheath

Construction of 81 affordable homes at Station Road, Lakenheath, in Suffolk, is underway. The 100% affordable scheme will bring much-needed homes to Lakenheath, with 41 available for shared ownership and 40 for social rent. The development is funded through our strategic partnership with Homes England.
Steven Morrice, our Development and Sales Director, said: “The energy-efficient homes will range from one bedroom maisonettes up to five bedroom family houses; they’ll all have air source heat pumps to keep customers’ energy bills low, and feature electric vehicle charging points.
Our contractor partner Burmor Construction started on site in early April. We’ve already substantially completed infrastructure works, creating access for the homes and a new primary school, as well as a cycle path connecting to the rest of Lakenheath.
