Ways to pay
Find out how to make a payment by Direct Debit, Allpay App, online, telephone, Hyde Payment Card, Standing Order or Housing Benefit, by selecting the relevant option below:
Where possible, we prefer you to pay by Direct Debit. This way, your bank automatically transfers your correct rent amount to us on a fixed date and you never have to worry about missing a payment. This significantly reduces the risk of arrears building up on your account. The payment timing must be that agreed in your tenancy agreement.
Pay by mobile phone - Allpay App
If you have an Android or Apple smartphone, you can now pay your rent and service charges on the move. All you need to do is download the Allpay App onto your phone and then use your rent payment card and a debit or credit card to complete your payment.
First time users need to register for the services via the App and, for security purposes, have to give a valid email address and mobile phone number. Confirmation of payment is then emailed to the user whenever a payment is made.
Visit www.allpay.net to register.
Please note if your mobile phone number changes, you will need to update your account details on the Allpay website.
You can make a secure payment by debit or credit card on the Allpay website.
You will need your rent payment card and debit/credit card. All first time users are asked to enter and confirm a password for added security and an email address at which the cardholder can receive payment confirmation.
If you are experiencing difficulties with Allpay please contact them directly on 0844 557 8321.
Payments can be made by debit or credit card over the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling us free on 0800 3282 282 and selecting Option 3 followed by Option 1.
Please ensure you have your payment card ready; you will receive an authorisation number at the end of the process that you should keep as proof of payment.
The payment will be on your account the following working day.
By Hyde Payment Card
You can use your Hyde rent payment card from Allpay to make payments by cash, cheque or debit/credit card. This can be done at any UK Post Office or shop displaying a Pay Point or Pay Zone sign.
Payments made by this method will reach your rent account within 48 hours. Always keep the receipt as proof of payment.
If you lose your payment card, contact us on 0800 3 282 282 immediately to order a replacement. You should receive a new card within four working days.
By Standing Order from your bank
A bank standing order is an automatic transfer of a set amount from your bank on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
Unlike direct debits, you will be responsible for altering the amount to be paid to us if your rent or service charges change.
The payment timing must be that agreed in your tenancy agreement.
By Housing Benefit direct payments
This is often the most convenient method of payment for those receiving housing benefit. If you would like to arrange for your housing benefit to be paid directly to us to pay your rent and/or service charge please contact your Local Authority Housing Benefit team.
Please note you will be responsible for making sure your rent is being paid by housing benefit should you choose this option. To find out if you are eligible for housing benefit contact your Local Authority or visit Gov.UK's housing benefits pages.
