The ballot opens on Monday 29 September 2025, at 9am. It will run for 25 days and closes at 5pm on Thursday 23 October 2025. Your vote must be received during this time to be counted.
Residents living in Bellevue Mansions, 289-307 Clapham Road, and that meet the eligibility criteria, will be able to vote.
If you believe you are eligible to vote, but have not yet received confirmation of this, you can contact Civica Election Services (CES) on 020 8889 9203 or email [email protected]. Alternatively, you can contact the Regeneration team at Hyde.
We’re following guidance from the Mayor of London, which says any significant regeneration scheme benefitting from Greater London Authority (GLA) grant funding to build affordable homes needs to have been through a resident ballot. The ballot must be a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on whether the majority of those voting are in favour of our proposal.
The ballot will ask you to vote ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on the following question:
“Are you in favour of the proposals for the regeneration of Bellevue Mansions?”
We’ve appointed an independent organisation, Civica Election Services (CES), to organise and run the ballot.
CES will ensure the ballot is run securely and independently from Hyde. It will post the ballot papers to residents, receive and count the votes, verify that votes have been cast legitimately and publish the result.
CES will post ballot papers to eligible voters on Friday 26 September which will include a pre-paid reply envelope and instructions on how to vote. You’ll be able to vote online, by telephone or by post (using the prepaid envelope provided).
If you don’t receive your voting pack by Tuesday 30 September 2025, or if you need help with casting your vote, please contact Civica Election Services on 020 8889 9203 or email [email protected].
Timescales
On Tuesday 9 September, Hyde will hand-deliver the Landlord Offer to residents, which will explain the proposals and our offer to residents in detail. It has also been published on this website.
On Monday 29 September, a ballot paper will be sent to all eligible voters via post by CES.
The resident ballot voting period will be from Monday 29 September at 9am until Thursday 23 October at 5pm for eligible residents. Votes can be cast via post, telephone or online.
On Thursday 30 October, Civica Election Services will send a summary letter to all eligible voters, including the total number of eligible voters, the turnout of voters, the total number of responses to each option and the final result of the vote. Hyde won’t know how individuals voted, only the result and the turnout.
