  1. You will be supporting the development of over 400 new homes including at least 200 affordable homes alongside a new nursery, outdoor sports facilities and green spaces
  2. You can move permanently into a new home on the new development.
  3. You will receive a one-off payment of £10,000 to compensate you for the move. Plus, we will pay your moving costs.
  4. Adult children who are currently on Lambeth’s Housing Register will be offered new homes on the new development at social rent levels.
  5. Your rent and service charge terms will stay the same.
  6. Your new home will be built to up-to-date performance, quality and safety standards, helping you reduce your energy bills and giving you a more comfortable place to live.
  7. You can move permanently to another Hyde home elsewhere if you do not wish to move into the new development.

Seven reasons for resident homeowners to vote YES to the redevelopment of Bellevue Mansions

  1. You will be supporting the development of over 400 new homes including at least 200 affordable homes alongside a new nursery, outdoor sports facilities and green spaces.
  2. You will receive market value +10% premium for your current property.
  3. Your premium can increase according to when you sell to us. The sooner you sell to us, the higher your premium.
  4. You can buy a new home on the new development on any of the following terms:
    a. Shared ownership (subject to eligibility criteria determined by the GLA)
    b. Straight purchase of a new home on the new development at a guaranteed price, fixed 3 years before completion. 
  5. If you choose to buy a new home on the new development, your new home will be built to up-to-date performance, quality and safety standards, helping you reduce your energy bills and giving you a more comfortable place to live.
  6. You will be reimbursed for any financial contribution you have made to major works at Bellevue Mansions since November 2023.
  7. You will be reimbursed for your reasonable legal and valuation fees and moving costs. We will also pay the stamp duty cost to you of any onward purchase (up to a cap relative to your sale price).

Residents will be able to vote in a ballot on the proposals for the redevelopment of Bellevue Mansions in October 2025.
