The SVLG’s Social Value Week 2025 shines a spotlight on social value, sparking discussions, sharing best practice, celebrating success stories, and honouring dedicated supply-chain partners.
Throughout the week, the SVLG and social value practitioners will use social media to share articles, panel discussions, case studies, and insights on social value planning, delivery, and impact.

Monday 24 November
Beyond the Bid: Supplier Challenges & Social Value Best Practice – Sponsored by the Hyde Group and MTVH
The day’s main feature will be a live lunchtime panel session of supply-chain leads, in which supply-chain leads will give responses and insights to some common challenges/assumptions held by procuring authorities about how suppliers approach social value. The panel will be made up of senior representatives from Pinnacle, McConnell, Bouygues, Mulalley, KM ECO, and will be facilitated by executive leadership consultant (and Chief Customer Officer from NHG) Chyrel Brown.
The day will also feature some quick-fire advice on social value best practice from a few senior-level social value sponsors, and there will be a sneak-peek trailer of The Social Value Assistant (SoVA), a simple monitoring and reporting tool being developed by the Hyde Group in partnership with the SVLG.
Tuesday 25 November
Social Value and Employment and Training – sponsored by Clarion Group and Sovereign Network Group
The day will feature a podcast-style interview on location at Stockwell Park, delving into customer insights on their experience of employment & training opportunities secured through social value. The session will also cover the role of social value in building employment & training opportunities, and the common challenges, solutions, and future trends in this area.
Wednesday 26 November
Biodiversity: Planting our ideas, growing our communities – Sponsored by Notting Hill Genesis & Live West
This day will focus on the role social value can play in supporting environmental sustainability and biodiversity in communities, through a roundtable discussion with supply-chain partners who have delivered environmental projects. The session will explore two success stories, assessing the impact these have had on communities, collaborative practices, and how these have aligned with organisation-wide sustainability strategies.
Thursday 27 November
SVLG Social Value Supply-Chain Awards (in person event) – in association with the Hyde Group and the L&Q Group, with additional sponsorship from Peabody, Notting Hill Genesis, MTVH, Fusion21, the Sovereign Network Group & McConnell
The awards celebrate the commendable social value delivery of SVLG Supply-Chain Partners, honouring those who have gone above and beyond. The award categories are:

The final day of Social Value Week will feature a live session looking back over the week’s activities, involving senior leads and supply-chain partners.
The day will also feature a reflection piece summarising the week’s sessions and outcomes; and a discussion around the integration of social value in placemaking practices.
