Thames Water have now restored the water supply to most customers in the affected postcodes (SE1,SE5, SE8, SE11, SE14, SE15, SE16, SE17, SW4, SW8 and SW9). If you water pressure is still low this should gradually improve in the coming hours. They have a support team on Verney Road, SE16 for those still affected or who are affected by flooding.

Please clear all sinks and basins of obstructions eg washing up, and remove all plugs. Leave kitchen and bathroom taps in the ‘OFF’ position in readiness for the return of the water supply.

Changing your name

Marriage, civil partnership, divorce, dissolution of civil partnership or deed poll

If you've changed your name from what's on your original tenancy agreement or lease due to marriage, civil partnership, divorce, dissolution of civil partnership or by deed poll you will need to update your details on MyAccount.

You will need to upload a copy of your relevant certificates or legal paperwork to confirm the name change.

Wishes to be known as

If you wish to be known as a different name to what is on your original tenancy agreement please contact us.  You will need to provide evidence of your new name which can be in the form of a driving licence, passport, letter confirming new name from a responsible person such as GP or solicitor, a change of name statement or statutory declaration. You can upload any supporting documents on MyAccount.

What happens next

Please note that you won't be provided with a new tenancy agreement in your new name. Your original tenancy agreement will still be valid, and you should keep a copy of your change of name details along with your tenancy agreement.
