Serving more customers in thriving communities
We’ve published our new Strategic Plan setting out our vision for the next five years to 2030
We want to be the UK’s best and most diverse housing, property, and community services provider
We’ve published our new Strategic Plan, setting out our vision for the next five years to 2030.
“We’ve got ambitious plans, as we continue to manage homes and support thriving communities across the UK, with the aim of being the country’s best and most diverse housing, property, and community services provider,” said Andy Hulme, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Hyde Group.
“Our charitable and social purpose won’t change. As a group led by a not-for-profit charity, we’ll still be a local social landlord at heart, putting customers first, providing safe, decent and affordable homes, and serving communities people can be proud of.
“Acquiring Pinnacle Group in 2024, and bringing Tower Hamlets Community Housing into the group in 2025, gives us a unique platform to deliver services to customers and clients in all four nations of the UK. We cover every aspect of providing good housing, from financing and building homes, to their long-term management in sustainable communities.”
The Hyde Group now employs more than 5,000 colleagues, owns and manages around 124,000 homes, and provides neighbourhood services to more than 350,000 homes. We’re a trusted partner of schools, colleges, universities, councils, housing associations, the armed forces, emergency services, government bodies and national and multinational clients.
“We’ll continue to maintain and invest in customers’ homes to make sure they’re safe and decent, energy efficient and climate resilient,” Andy said. “We’ll keep improving our repair services, deliver a first-class customer service and support customers and communities in their time of need.
“We’ll also continue to partner with local and combined authorities, housebuilders and institutional investors, to build more homes and deliver positive environmental and social impact, as well as long term, sustainable returns for our funders.”
Our objectives over the next five years are to:
- Serve customers
- Invest in homes
- Support communities
- Build homes
- Grow our income
- Empower our people.
“These are stretching but realistic goals that will underpin everything we do, so we can be a better landlord to our customers, and deliver more high quality and sustainable homes across the UK,” Andy said.
Our 2030 targets
- Be the best landlord and service provider we can be for our customers, and for public and private sector clients
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer satisfaction, ranking in the top quartile of our peers in the sector
- Deliver a significant number of high-quality homes every year, to play our part in solving the housing crisis
- Deliver positive social and environmental impact in our communities, measured and reported annually
- Achieve and maintain the highest ratings we can from the Regulator of Social Housing
- Overcome the challenges facing the sector and maintain our long-term financial stability.
