One of our main aims at Hyde is to build more affordable homes where they are most needed. Making the best use of the land we already own is one way we can do this.

We’re redeveloping the garage site along Levehurst Way on the Studley Estate to create new apartments and improve landscaping.

We’ve submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of the garage site along Levehurst Way on the Studley Estate.

Our plans include:

  • 18 new affordable, energy-efficient homes
  • Improved entrance to Surridge Court
  • New landscape and improved public spaces, including the upgrades to the Memorial Garden at Surridge Court.

The scheme is designed to be inclusive and accessible, providing new homes as well as improving wayfinding into our Studley Estate from Clapham Road.

We plan to remove the curved hedge to make the space more open to allow clear views between Surridge Court and Levehurst Way. It can also be used for local community events and nearby cafés to set out tables and chairs.
