This will be a highly sustainable development, with timber frame construction used throughout. All the homes will achieve the highest Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) A rating. There will be extensive electrical vehicle charging across the site and the development will include new play areas and green public open spaces. Additional tree planting and landscaping will help to maintain and enhance biodiversity.
The development supports the Arun Local Plan objectives and contributes to meeting local housing needs. The design of the homes is sympathetic to the site’s surroundings and enhances the character of Yapton village.
