Member of Group Board and Group Housing Services Committee
Debbie joined the Group Board and Group Housing Services Committee in March 2024. She brings a wealth of experience from her many years as a teacher, deputy head, inclusion lead, diversity lead, member of the PTA and chair of parent Governors at a local primary school. Debbie has been a Hyde resident for 21 years.
Debbie lives in southeast London and has done for the last 33 years. With other residents, she started the tenants and residents’ association (TRA) on her estate in 2003. It was a roaring success, with homeowners and other Hyde residents from outside the estate eager to be involved. Debbie also introduced a youth TRA, for younger residents aged 8-15, to help them contribute more to their community.
