Our building is open Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
(But we also take bookings outside these hours).
About the Old Laundry
Hyde, Stockwell Gardens West Tenants and Residents Association (SGWRA) and Younge People Matter (YPM) are working together to develop The Old Laundry into a community centre that delivers a wide range of services and support to the residents of Stockwell.
Both groups deliver a wide range of services and support to the residents of Stockwell.
Many more community groups hire our facilities to hold meetings and events throughout the year.
Reopening the Old Laundry
The Old Laundry community centre was reopened in Summer 2023, after a major refurbishment project. The multi-million pound project included asbestos removal and refurbishing the main community space and offices.
