We are currently seeking to recruit a Head of Rent and Service Charges. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader with extensive experience in setting rents and preparing service charges. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, a proven ability to implement and manage change, exceptional team management skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement income generation strategies that align with Hyde’s goals and objectives.
- Rent and Service Charge Management: Oversee the setting, management, and administration of rents and service charges.
- Change Management: Drive and manage change initiatives to improve processes and outcomes within the rent and service charge function.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the income management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding of rent and service charges within the social housing sector.

Responsibilities

Role
- Completing desk top analysis of the property, using comparable toolkit and available information to determine estimated value

- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of residential building construction, the refurbishment and repairs process and how to create added value
