Your Role as a Management Accountant

You’ll play a key role in Hyde’s financial cycle, with a particular focus on annual budget setting, reforecasting, long term planning and producing management accounts that guide strategic decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Business Support with annual budgets, forecasting, and monthly accounts.
  • Collaborating with the long-term Financial Planning team to ensure cohesion between annual, medium-term and long-term financial plans using the Brixx modelling tool.
  • Producing accurate and insightful financial analysis for the Group.
  • Liaising with Treasury and Financial Control teams to ensure alignment across financial outputs.
  • Maintaining a group risks and opportunities schedule to support strategic forecasting.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a confident and motivated finance professional with strong analytical and communication skills. You should be able to work collaboratively and independently across different finance teams.

Essential:

  • Recently qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Strong Excel skills (including lookups, IF formulas, pivots, and charts)
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving and skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and confident presenting financial insights
  • Confident communicator and networker
  • Proven ability to check and review financial accuracy

Desirable:

  • Proficient with Power BI skills
  • Familiarity with Workday or Brixx

As an Administrator at Hyde, you will be working within the Property Maintenance team, specifically supporting our Disrepair service. You will provide essential administrative support to ensure that customer communications, contractor coordination, and system records are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Book and manage appointments and inspections for disrepair works
• Maintain accurate property folders, trackers and shared inboxes
• Liaise with contractors and customers to confirm appointments and variations
• Upload and manage documentation using internal systems (e.g. Risk Hub, CRM)
• Respond to emails and calls professionally, updating records as required
• Support surveyors and supervisors by tracking case progress and sharing updates

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage diaries and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Experience with systems such as Salesforce, CRM, Trello (or similar)
• Ability to use initiative and work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
• Maintain an accurate fleet register and hire plant logs
• Arrange servicing, licence checks, and fuel cards
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal repair teams and operatives
• Process and track invoices, ensuring timely off-hiring of high-cost items
• Produce weekly hire reports and support data analysis and reporting
• Assist with the roll-out of new fleet vehicles and collection of returns
