As a Regeneration Project Manager you will play an important role in supporting the effective planning and delivery of large residential led high-profile regeneration projects that contribute to Hyde’s ambition to build sustainable, inclusive communities.

Key Duties:

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Support the planning, development, and delivery of complex regeneration projects, working under the direction of the Project Director.
  • Contribute to project business cases, feasibility studies, and delivery plans.
  • Coordinate tasks across internal teams, consultants, and contractors to help keep the project moving.
  • Carry out development feasibility work and financial appraisals for regeneration opportunities.
  • Undertake due diligence on legal, design, financial, construction, and procurement aspects of projects.
  • Conduct local market research and review planning policies to help inform project decisions.
  • Support communications between teams such as construction, sales, neighbourhoods, assets, and finance to ensure joined-up delivery.

Financial & Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor project budgets and appraisals, prepare regular updates and dashboards, and highlight any risks or issues to senior colleagues.
  • Track project progress and timelines, flagging any delays or challenges to the Project Director or senior team.
  • Support the Project Director (Regeneration) with data analysis, performance reporting, and presentation materials.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Lead customer and community engagement activities, working closely with Hyde’s Customer Involvement team, Hyde Foundation, and local officers.
  • Represent Hyde at public meetings and forums, sharing project updates and listening to local feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, customers, consultants, contractors, and investors.

We’re seeking someone who can bring:

  • Proven experience delivering residential led regeneration or development projects, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong financial appraisal and commercial skills, including managing project budgets, funding bids, and financial modelling.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder and community engagement skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across sectors.
  • Clear and confident communication, negotiation, and reporting abilities, with strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Membership or working towards a relevant professional body accreditation (e.g. RICS, RIBA, RITP etc).
