As an Income Services Officer, you will be working within our Income Team to manage the prevention and recovery of rent arrears and other debts.
Responsibilities
- Recover rent arrears and service charges from an assigned account.
- Respond back to all resident correspondence regarding the management of their account.
- Offer money management advice to assist the resident in prioritisation of rent and service charge payments and reduction of arrears.
- Ensure residents receive appropriate advice and guidance regarding benefits and welfare entitlements to maximise their potential income, making appropriate referrals where identified.
- To represent Hyde by attending and presenting cases professionally at court.
- Refer cases to appropriate teams/external agencies where more in depth advice is required.
Skills and Experience Required
- Rent arrears recovery / debt collection experience is preferable
- Strong customer service skills

Your Role as Senior Financial Analyst
This is a strategic and technical finance role, focused on leading Hyde’s annual and long-term financial planning cycles. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and divisional leaders, using your financial analysis and modelling skills to assess risks, test scenarios, and align assumptions with our overall strategic direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Group’s annual financial planning cycle, mid-year update and Board reporting on the Groups long term financial plan.
- Managing and maintaining the 30-year Group financial planning model (Brixx), ensuring accuracy, reconciliation and usability.
- Designing and modelling a robust base case and stress-tested financial scenarios aligned with Hyde’s strategic aims.
- Collaborating with teams across the group including Development, Treasury, Investment, Operations and Finance, to ensure modelling assumptions are fully aligned, understood and clearly presented
- Supporting the preparation of key submissions to the Regulator of Social Housing and credit rating agencies.
- Working with other finance colleagues, providing analysis and insight in performance benchmarking and other sector peer performance.
- Producing insightful reports and recommendations for the Executive and Board.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a confident, forward-thinking accountant who combines strategic insight with technical excellence and great people skills. You’ll need to be a natural and confident collaborator who can navigate complexity, challenge assumptions, and communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial colleagues.
Essential:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
- Great communication skills and a good relationship builder
- Excellent business finance modelling skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in long-term financial planning and modelling.
- Previous staff management or mentoring experience.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; confident in presenting financial insights.
