We want customers to have energy-efficient homes, that are safe and affordable, as well as being comfortable and enjoyable places to live.
Our objectives are outlined in our Sustainability Strategy 2022-2030 (PDF, 5.7MB) that will be updated in 2025.
While we recognise we still have work to do in some areas, our target is still to reach zero operational carbon by 2050.

Our 2023/24 highlights
- 77% of our general needs homes are in EPC band C (SAP69) or higher
- We carried out 10,000 stock condition surveys, double our original target
- We started work to improve the energy efficiency of nearly 1,000 homes in Chichester
- 95% of new homes were in EPC band B (SAP 81) or higher
- We reduced our carbon impact (predominantly Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions) to 9,621tCO2e from 9,844 tCO2e
- We mapped 30% of our communal green spaces
- We retained our gold award for SHIFT, the sustainability standard for social housing.
