We want to work more in partnership with our customers to improve our approach to building safety. We will offer genuine opportunities for you to engage with us, so you can make choices and influence the decisions that affect you and your home.

We are looking for volunteers to join our new Building Safety Panel to provide a resident’s viewpoint.

If you join the panel, you would be working in partnership with Hyde staff and contractors to:

  • Agree priorities for the building safety team
  • Look at the outcomes of building inspections and track progress
  • Improve how we let residents know about building safety issues.

You would need to attend at least 4 meetings a year, read any relevant paperwork and potentially complete some additional training. Both meetings and training will be online for the moment.

This is a great opportunity to work with Hyde to help improve services and to help get residents’ voices heard. It could also be really useful for your CV. This is a voluntary role, however any out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed, in line with our customer involvement expenses policy.
