Bellevue Mansions

The ten buildings making up Bellevue Mansions were built, and subsequently altered, between 1839 and the 1910s, creating a terrace of houses along what is now Clapham Road. The buildings currently house 62 flats, with residents sharing a private garden, along with a playground, a multi-use games area and a car park.

Our Stockwell homes, including Bellevue Mansions, were transferred from Lambeth Council in a large scale voluntary transfer in 1999. Since then, we’ve maintained the homes for tenants and leaseholders, as well working to address issues of antisocial behaviour. Stockwell is our largest community; we have more than 2,500 homes and 5,000 customers within 500m of the tube station.

Lambeth has a housing crisis, with thousands of people on the council’s housing list. Regenerating Bellevue Mansions means we can build more, desperately-needed affordable homes in the borough.
