A huge congratulations to Diana Reeves who is celebrating 35 years working as a cleaner at Hyde’s Edmunds and Lund House, a sheltered scheme in Petworth, West Sussex.
Diana takes huge pride in her work, with visitors commenting that Edmunds and Lund House is absolutely spotless. She is always adamant that any contractors working at the scheme leave it as tidy as they found it!
Diana also provides vital support to the residents at Edmunds and Lund House – which has been more important than ever during the pandemic.
David Hunter, Director of Resident Services said: “Diana is our eyes and ears on the ground and has a wealth of knowledge. It's in her nature go above and beyond in everything she does, and her dedication to our customers is a shining example of best practice for us all. Thirty-five years is a tremendous achievement –a huge ‘thank you’ from all your residents and colleagues.”
Diana said: “One of the reasons that I've worked here for so long, is because working with my colleagues and the residents is just like being part of one big family. I've seen some changes over the years – but I still feel the same pride working at Edmunds and Lund House now as I did in the beginning.”
To celebrate, Diana received flowers from Hyde colleagues, as well as a Cornish cream team which was delivered to her home.
