In light of National Apprenticeship Week (4-8 March), we are celebrating our apprenticeship programme at Hyde.
Apprenticeships allow young people to learn on the job, as well as developing new and valuable skills. Within our scheme we offer apprentices four hours of paid study leave a week, monthly 1:1 meetings with their manager, a learning mentor and a buddy who is a current apprentice and will happily show the new apprentice the ropes.
Our fifth cohort of apprentices joined us in October 2018, and will complete one or two-year courses gaining qualifications in Business Administration or Digital Marketing.
We have apprentices working in all areas of the business including IT, Communications, Resident Services, Fire Safety, Transformation and the Hyde Foundation. Hear how three of our recent apprentices describe their Hyde apprenticeship so far using just three words:
