We're pleased to announce that UK Car Park Management (UKCPM) has been awarded our new estate car parking contract, covering all our estates.
Hyde estates in Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Islington are now managed by UKCPM. These estates include: Arden House, Beckett House, Bellview Mansions, Birrell House, Edrich House, Fenton Close, Foundry Court, Hyde Village Estate, Kennington Park, Packington Estate, Pinter House, Ringcross Estate, Scena Way, Stockwell Gardens East, Stockwell Gardens West, Studley Estate, the Bridge Estate and the Grove Estate.
There will be a phased transfer for the rest of our estates from Monday 14 June 2021. UKCPM will write to you to let you know about the changeover. From the date you receive your letter, you’ll be given four weeks to register your vehicle. Any current permits will be honoured and UKCPM will take over the issuing of visitor permits.
Benefits of the new contract include:
- a digital, streamlined service that's more environmentally friendly as there’s less paperwork
- virtual permits that are not open to counterfeiting and fraud
- potential for electrical vehicle (EV) charging points
- easy reporting of abandoned vehicles
- UKCPM will send reminder letters when permits are expiring
Adrian Addo, Property Team Manager, said: “This new contract will mean we can offer you a more digital, easier and efficient car parking service. We’ll just have one parking contractor for all our estates, instead of six. And, it will literally be a one stop shop for all parking-related issues – you’ll even be able to apply for virtual permits using the UKCPM parking app.
UKCPM will be providing customers with further information. In the meantime, you don’t need to do anything – we’ll be working closely with UKCPM, to ensure a smooth transition.”
