Fire in Stockwell

Posted on 17 August 2021

On Monday 16 August, there was a fire in one of our flats on the thirteenth floor of Pinter House, a 22 storey block of flats in Stockwell. The cause of the fire is unknown, but the flat was empty at the time.

No casualties were reported, but one of our residents has been admitted to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

The fire brigade are still completing investigations to determine the cause of the fire. The fire has caused some disruption to our customers, however early indications show that the fire was self-contained. There is smoke damage to the flat above and to the common area, along with water damage to the flat below.

We would like to thank our customers for their patience and for the support of emergency services and everyone else involved.
