Young people take charge for a day

Posted on 28 November 2017

Last Friday we opened our Brighton and London office doors to young people as part of the Children's Commissioner's Takeover Challenge.

This is an annual event which sees organisations hand over the reins to young people for the day, hear their views and gain a fresh perspective on their work.

We welcomed nine young residents to an action-packed day of workshops, a speed networking event and live social media session, as well as visits to our award-winning SuperB and Bermondsey Spa developments.

One young resident summed up the day: "I loved seeing what it’s like to work in an office, and learning how Hyde staff started off in their careers".

We will be staying in contact with the participants and linking them to opportunities at Hyde and through our partnerships.
