We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for two schemes in the prestigious Housing Design Awards.
Stonebridge 29/30 and Spring at New Stonebridge Park have been recognised for the “Project” and “Completed” categories in this year’s Housing Design Awards. These are the only awards promoted by all five major professional institutions – RICS, RIBA, RPTI, Landscape Institute and Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
Over the last two decades we have led the redevelopment of the Stonebridge estate, with a variety of completed projects across a wide area, transforming this once run-down North London housing estate into a new, vibrant neighbourhood.
Our award winning Spring at New Stonebridge Park is a mixed-tenure development of 164 homes, centred around a canal and communal gardens that forms part of this regeneration. The scheme recognised in the “Completed” category, has responded to the needs of residents and the local community and incorporates a doctors surgery, dentist, nursery, Tesco Express, sports pavilion and a community centre. These high quality homes were designed by architects Cullinan Studio.
The Stonebridge 29/30 development has been recognised for the “Project” category in this year’s awards and offers a great opportunity to regenerate the southern part of the masterplan, completing the regeneration of this neighbourhood. Described as an “exemplar scheme in terms of design” by the Greater London Authority, the development will provide 178 homes, fantastic communal gardens and green areas for residents to enjoy. The scheme has been designed by architects HTA and will be delivered with our joint venture partner Hill Partnerships.
Craig Horn, Head of Land and Planning said, “We are delighted to have two schemes shortlisted for these prestigious awards. We are working with top architects to create high quality homes in great places to live and the shortlisting for these awards recognises our commitment to good design.”
