The judges were looking for outstanding entrants who could demonstrate a contribution above and beyond that of colleagues or peers in other housing associations; a great communicator, winning the trust of colleagues across the organisation and a partner to the CEO; as well as sound financial risk management and risk planning, with a focus more on planning ahead than looking back.
Elaine Bailey, Chief Executive said: “Peter has a clear strategic vision to continue the development of a flexible and progressive Hyde to 2030, which provides for all people at all stages of life. He has a thorough understanding of strategic asset management – where we build, invest and sell our unfit properties to help realise this vision. Peter’s approach has allowed us to work in partnership with one of our key local authorities, to develop a long-term housing strategy.”
The winners will be announced during an evening reception at the Housing Finance Awards in Liverpool on 20 March 2019.
